Having been awarded ISAF Class status, the Gazprom Swan 60 Class has an extensive calendar planned for 2013, building up to the first World Championships scheduled to take place in the Solent from 13 – 19 July 2013 hosted by the Royal Yacht Squadron with the fleet and Regatta Village based at Cowes Yacht Haven. A Class specific one design racing Circuit in Northern Europe for 2013 is planned to start with the Delta Lloyd North Sea Regatta in Scheveningen, Netherlands followed by the inaugural Gazprom Swan 60 World Championship in Cowes, UK running alongside the Gazprom Swan European Regatta. Remaining in Cowes with the Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week in August and finishing the circuit in September with the second edition of the gruelling 800nm Baltic challenge of the Nord Stream Race.

Other races include the Rolex Fastnet Race, a highly contested race covering 608 nautical miles in challenging conditions. The race starts in Cowes, Isle of Wight and is a race to round the Fastnet Rock off the southwest coast of Ireland before finishing in Plymouth.
