Taking place in Tuscany for the first time the third Gazprom Swan 60 World Championship with be hosted by Club Nautico di Scarlino. Competition will be in the Tyrrenian sea, with social events planned at both Marina di Scarlino and surrounding Maremma known for its outstanding wineries and landscape. Scarlino located in southern Tuscany is one of Italy's most beautiful stretches of coastline. As well as boasting top quality mooring, excellent food and wine with the best of local culture Marina di Scarlino includes a top level boat yard 'Scarlino Yacht Service'. Nautor's Swan has selected this particular yard as their Mediterranean base for Nautor's Swan Customer Care with a 100 ton travel lift, 7.8m dry dock, 30 ton crane and an impressive warehouse, all facilities cover 9,500m squared on site.
A relaxing setting this area is renowned for beautiful surroundings including pristine beaches and pine forests away from the crowds. 250 kilometres of coastline are line by cliffs that drop away into crystal clear waters. Two of the most beautiful islands, Elba and Montecristo sit on the horizon out to sea.
The Tuscany region is dedicated to fine wines and high quality food with a wide variety of restaurants, yacht clubs, beach clubs and shops to provide variety ashore.
