Swan 601 Stark Raving Mad win Rolex Swan Cup Caribbean

The inaugural Rolex Swan Cup Caribbean concluded on the 15th March with a triumphant Swan 601 Stark Raving Mad taking first place in Class A – Maxi Class.

This was the inaugural edition of the Caribbean event which took place off the coast of the beautiful Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. Over 20 Swan yachts took part, and after four days of racing Swan 601 Stark Raving Mad were victorious and took first place; winning the Rolex Swan Cup Caribbean Trophy.

Looking back on the week, James Madden of Stark Raving Mad commented: β€œThe event has been fantastic; the racing has been tactically challenging as a lot of the boats were extremely well sailed and we knew they would be very competitive; our objective was to try as best as we could to keep them behind us for as long as possible around the race track. Apart from winning the Rolex Swan Cup Caribbean Trophy, my highlight of the event was the Oil Nut Bay Beach Party – such a stunning location!”

The racing schedule teamed with the glamorous social programme; including a cocktail reception, crew party and gala dinner, offered ClubSwan members a week of idyllic sailing and socialising.
