Leonardo Ferragamo, Chairman of Nautor’s Swan, together with ClubSwan partners Gazprom and the Yacht Club of Saint-Petersburg (SPBYC) Russia hosted an exclusive reception at Trinity House, London for ClubSwan member’s yesterday evening. The reception was held to celebrate the successes of 2012 and to introduce the Swan family to plans for the year ahead.

As the reception got underway speeches were delivered by Leonardo Ferragamo, Chairman of Nautor’s Swan; David Aisher, representative of the Royal Yacht Squadron and Vladimir Liubomirov, Commodore of the Yacht Club of Saint Petersburg. Speeches were followed by a prize giving to celebrate the successes of the Nautor’s Swan yachts and crews in 2012; a total of five bespoke, Asprey designed trophies were presented to winning crews.

Skipper of Swan 60 Bronenosec, Vladimir Liubomirov was presented with the Swan Maxi Class Trophy. The Swan Maxi Class Circuit, held for the fifth time in 2012 comprised of five events across the season in the Mediterranean; the Russian team onboard Swan 60 Bronenosec secured their victory with a win at the Rolex Swan Cup in September 2012.

Winning the Swan Maxi Class Trophy rounds off a wonderful 2012 for the Swan 60 Bronenosec crew and sets the tone for the year ahead. The crew will shortly begin their 2013 campaign, with hopes for another exciting and successful year.
